about
Although I have always focussed on the future when creating new music, my debut album “Exhibition of Dreams” has always been an important mark in my musical journey, to which I looked back more than once throughout the years.
When the original album release sold out, back in 2000, I already decided to reissue the album one day, because of the ongoing demand. Ten years later the remastered version of “Exhibition of Dreams” was released. In addition, a selection of the album’s original tracks was revisited too, which resulted in “EoD”.
The first customers also received the limited freebee “Exhibition of Dreams bonus tracks” with recordings from the same era as the debut album.
For the twentieth anniversary of “Exhibition of Dreams” I wanted to provide insight into the creation process of the original album. As another re-recording of the album’s tracks would be an unnecessary addition, I think it would be much more valuable to compile an artbook and to include a disc with never before released essential audio tracks that were also part of the recorded material from which I have selected tracks for the album as it was released on December 20th, 1999.
Besides background information, notes, artwork and photos from my archives, people who significantly contributed to the success of “Exhibition of Dreams” have written their memories.
Remy Stroomer, September 2019.

"Remy Stroomer makes music in the vein of Klaus Schulze circa late 80's - early 90's, which separates him from the bulk of
Neo-Prog EM acts that seem to focus on the 70's / early 80's Berlin style."

This album is utterly brilliant and is my new go-to as far as electronic music as a whole. I despair that I will find nothing else that will evoke the same emotions. It is hypnotic, intriguing and vivifying all at once. I have no idea how that was pulled off! BGE
